Giving Back Is Equisite Brianne Link at the Hampton Classic

If you see an especially stylish JustWorld International Ambassador this weekend, it's likely Brianne Link at her equestrian apparel booth at the Hampton Classic.

Link is the founder of Equisite Elements of Style, and is both an exemplary equestrian and a proud Ambassador of JWI. This weekend at the Hampton Classic Link is working to share the mission, because giving back is always in style.

At 25 years old, Link supports JWI by donating auction items to the Gala each year, spreading awareness, and raising funds. Those who shop at the Equisite booth this year at the Hampton Classic will be given a JWI flier with the opportunity to get involved.

"Much appreciation to Brianne Link for helping to build dreams and hope. Los Patojos, 2009.”

That is what a hanging sign in Project Leader Juan Pablo's childhood house and original school building, designed and created by the students of Los Patojos, reads. I will always cherish the excitement, appreciation, feeling of accomplishment, and the utmost love for El Patojismo after raising the funds needed to put a roof over the courtyard of the original school and accepting the praises of so many young, smiling children.

I remember sitting with my mom applying for Just World International at the dining table of my aunt and uncle’s house in Vermont. The idea of being able to contribute to children in need of assistance to fulfill their dreams in education, art, athleticism, and professionalism is consistently magnetic to this day. As the youngest ambassador when I joined to today at the age of 25, competing in levels up to 1.50m and Under 25 Grand Prix competitions while running my own equestrian apparel and accessory business with over 100 retailers worldwide.

Just World International has shaped my life, athletic career, and professional pursuits in a multitude of ways. I can proudly say that as a high-level competitor in show jumping, I am well-known for my Just World blue show coat. I represented Just World team spirit in the pony jumpers, children and junior hunters, junior and amateur jumpers, and Grand Prix competitions.

The significance of the eye-catching blue color translated to my childhood bedroom wall paint, every car I have owned, the primary branding color for my company, Equisite, and of course, my never-ending desire to collect as many blue first place ribbons as possible. Former Just World team member Molly McDougal told me about her experience as a student at Savannah College of Art and Design and how the university provided the knowledge she needed to go on and contribute to JustWorld International. She encouraged me to pursue an artistic path within the equine industry.

I went on to graduate with a B.A. in Equestrian Studies and a minor in Business Entrepreneurship and Management from SCAD. While I was a student, I donated percentages of sales for my artwork created for class. Since founding Equisite, I have donated auction baskets of products to JustWorld International’s Galas. There is no question regarding how deep my commitment goes, and I want to take actionable steps forward.
