There’s no doubt La Baule loves JustWorld! The season’s first major European outdoor show allowed the organization to reach more than 30,000 spectators over 4 days from May 14 to 17.

Jessica Newman, Founder and Executive Director of JustWorld, confessed: “It’s the first time that visitors came to see us and tell us how touched they were by the actions and involvement of Ambassadors. I’d like to deeply thank Remi Clero, President of the Longines Jumping International de La Baule, and his team led by Nadia Poirier. Their support represents an invaluable asset to the development of JustWorld in France and Europe.”

JustWorld’s Upcoming Shows: Paris, St. Gallen, Chantilly

It’s off to Switzerland for JustWorld’s next partner show in Europe! Under the presidency of Nayla Stossel, Longines CSIO Schweiz St. Gallen competition confirms their commitment to the humanitarian organization. From June 4 to 7, the Swiss public will have the opportunity to learn about JustWorld’s work. The partnership with St. Gallen reaffirms the partnership established two years prior with the support of the Swiss Federation for Equestrian Sports.

Next, JustWorld will head to France to reunite with the organizing committee of the Longines Global Champions Tour – Longines Paris Eiffel Jumping after a successful partnership last year, an initiative of Virginie Couperie-Eiffel.  Dressed in JustWorld’s signature blue and purple colors, volunteers will welcome the public at four different information points set up under the famous Eiffel Tower from July 3 to 5 this summer.

Finally, from July 16 to 19, JustWorld volunteers will welcome visitors to Longines Global Champions Tour, this time against the magnificent backdrop of the Chateau of Chantilly. With programs being sold, autograph sessions, contests and games, guests will be sure to be entertained!

Jessica Newman added, “I am proud and extremely touched by the support received by the organizing committees of all of these events. Their loyalty to JustWorld and the importance given to us and our partners contribute enormously to our development. The impact of our work has not seized to grow since receiving their support over the past three years now”.

Longines Clear the Jump: Jumping for a Just World

LPRIX LONGINES : JUST WORLDongines, the famous Swiss watch-maker, has decided to spearhead once again the “Longines Clear the Jump” initiative during the international jumping shows of La Baule, St Gallen, Paris Eiffel and Chantilly. The rule of the game is as follows: Longines will donate the equivalent amount of 100 meals distributed to disadvantaged children for every clear jump over the Longines obstacle during the Grand Prix classes. In 2014, Longines provided the equivalent of 45,000 meals to children at the JustWorld programs in Cambodia, Honduras, Guatemala and Colombia. “I can’t begin to thank Longines enough for their generosity. Thanks to their support, not only do the children receive nutrition meals, but they are also able to learn and move forward with their lives,” said Jessica Newman.
