Chassieu, France – October 29, 2013 – Equita’ Lyon and GL events will announce the renewal of their partnership with JustWorld International during their 2013 horse show which takes place from October 30th through November 3rd at the Lyon-Eurexpo. With several initiatives organized throughout the week, JustWorld hopes to raise funds for its newest global campaign, GIVE 4 GOOD. The GIVE 4 GOOD campaign features several top International Grand Prix riders who have chosen their cause, and hope to inspire others to join them in choosing a cause that speaks to them.
Equita’ Lyon and GL Events were two of the very first partners to welcome JustWorld International as an official charity partner during the organization’s official 2012 European launch. It was with great enthusiasm that Sylvie Robert, General Director of Equita’ Lyon, invited JustWorld to return as the official charity partner for 2013. JustWorld Executive Director, Jessica Newman, delightfully accepted the invitation, “We are so excited and lucky to be a part of Equita’ Lyon once again this year. With their support, Equita’ is setting an example for other horse shows in France and throughout Europe, as well as permitting us to raise much needed funds for our projects.”
More than a dozen volunteers from all over Europe will join JustWorld at Equita’ Lyon to help raise the maximum amount of awareness and funds for the organization.
JustWorld’s Presence at the Equidia Booth
JustWorld media partner, Equidia Life TV, will have a booth serving as home base for JustWorld throughout the week of Equita’ Lyon. The JustWorld team will be present at the booth to promote the cause, sharing the ways to get involved, and selling tickets for the different contests that JustWorld will be hosting throughout the week.

Thanks to the organization’s numerous partners that will have a presence at Equita’ Lyon, the JustWorld team will be organizing various drawings and contests on each day of the horse show. Attendees will have the opportunity to win prizes including an autographed helmet worn by the sport’s newly elected European Champion, Roger-Yves Bost. A few lucky winners will also have the opportunity to meet Roger-Yves Bost at the Equidia booth on site during the show.
In addition, JustWorld will be organizing various autograph-signing sessions with a few of their Professional Ambassadors that will be competing at Equita’ Lyon. JustWorld Ambassador Kevin Staut, who has just returned from a trip to visit the JustWorld project in Cambodia, will be signing autographs alongside other riders to help raise funds for JustWorld projects.
The Support of Longines
Long-time equestrian patron Longines is extending its support to JustWorld International in order to help raise awareness and funds for its mission.
The Swiss watchmaker will be organizing the “Longines Clear the Jump” initiative during the 2013 Equita’ Lyon. For each time that the Longines signature jump is cleared by a competitor in the Sunday Grand Prix, Longines will donate 200 CHF to JustWorld International.
“We are very grateful for Longines’ support of our projects and the role they play in bettering the lives of thousands of children living in extreme poverty. With their help, JustWorld will be able to continue providing some of the world’s most vulnerable children with access to the programs we back. Our hope is that this initiative will set an example for other horse shows and partners do the same in the future” said JustWorld’s Executive Director, Jessica Newman.
JustWorld Official Mascot, Pedro Cebulka
JustWorld Techincal Official Ambassador and official mascot, Pedro Cebulka, will once again serve as Master of Ceremonies for the Equita’ Lyon horse show. With his famous beard and extravagant outfits, Pedro will not be hard to miss. Pedro and the JustWorld hostesses will present the awards for each class in order to further promote JustWorld International and bring attention to the mission of the humanitarian organization.
