Wellington, FL – February 6, 2012 – Green, purple and blue will be the colors of celebration on Sunday, March 17, 2013 at the Polo West Cantina in Wellington, Florida. Horseware Ireland’s ‘Build a New School’ St. Patrick’s Day Bash will help JustWorld International raise funds for the construction of a new school building in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. A celebrity polo match under the stars will feature Irish show jumpers Cian O’Connor, Kevin Babington and Andrew Bourns, as well as Swedish show jumper Daniel Zetterman as they play alongside professional polo players for the St. Patrick’s Day bragging rights. Advanced tickets are only $75, and are on sale now for this phenomenal St. Patrick’s Day festivity.
Horseware Ireland has been one of JustWorld’s steadfast supporters, and they are acting as a title sponsor for this fun-filled pilot event, opening the doors of the Polo West Cantina this approaching St. Patrick’s Day. This first-time event will feature a celebrity polo match, delicious asado and an entertaining evening filled with dancing and an open bar.
The polo match will feature top ranking international show jumpers riding in tandem with professional polo players to earn the night’s honors. It will be a competition filled with anticipation, exhilaration and of course, a few good laughs.
The doors to Polo West will open at 7 pm, and the polo match will begin shortly after. Polo ponies will go by in a blur, racing down the field to score as riders compete beneath the stars for the victory of the night.
