Why Jump for a Just World?
"When I first heard about JustWorld and what it represents, I wanted to become an ambassador right away," said Isabel, who became an Amateur Rider Ambassador at the beginning of 2007. " My main goal is to go to Honduras to help these children that are less fortunate than I am. Even though I am just a high school student, I’ll try my hardest to help these kids and communitites. I want to promote JustWorld’s mission, and I hope to help this wonderful organization for many years to come."

Riding was a natural choice for Isabel Jolicoeur given that her father, Pierre, is an Olympic trainer and her mother, Martha, is a well-known amateur competitor. Growing up in Virginia, Isabel rode on the family farm and combined her love of horses with field hockey and lacrosse. Since relocating to Florida, Isabel has been focusing on her riding career.

A regular competitor on the 'A' circuit for the past decade, Isabel is coached by her father and also receives help from Clea Newman of Pegasus. Currently, her two top horses are Deu Clue and Lauren Hough's former Grand Prix mount, All Frosty. Both horses were purchased through Stephex Stables in Belgium.

A ninth grade student at St. Andrews School in Boca Raton, Isabel is enjoys the support of her family, including her uncle, Robert, who was the course designer for the 1976 Montreal Olympics.
