Charlotte Jacobs is one of JustWorld International's youngest rider ambassadors. A successful competitor in the pony divisions, Charlotte rode Hillcrest Penniewise to wins in the NHJL Large Pony Hunter Classic and the WIHS Pony Equitation at the Atlanta Fall Classic Horse Show in Conyers, GA, held at the beginning of November. Their success came despite the fact that they had only been partnered together for a few short months.
The following summer at the 2007 Pony Finals in Lexington, Kentucky, Charlotte piloted her pony, Hillcrest Penniewise, to fifth place in the Large Pony Hunter over fences class. In the Pony Medal Finals, Jacobs also finished fifth riding Navigator, a pony that she had never shown before.
Charlotte rides at SBS Farms Inc. in Buffalo, NY, with Susie Schoellkopf and Jennifer Alfano. She also competes at the Winter Equestrian Festival in Wellington, Florida, in the winter months with guidance from Leo and Samantha Conroy.
Charlotte enjoys the support of her family including her parents, Lou and Joan. Both of her parents ride, which naturally led Charlotte to enjoy spending time in the saddle herself. When she is not riding, Charlotte enjoys playing tennis and lacrosse, and is also a huge hockey fan.
