Why “Jump for a Just World?
“It has become a priority in my life to be aware of and help make better the poor situations of suffering human beings based on social injustice,” said Alexandra. As an ambassador she will increase awareness of the cause and believes that this will “stimulate not only the development of my life as a professional, but all those I come into contact with.”
Amateur Ambassador Alexandra Duval was encouraged to join JustWorld International by her friend and fellow competitor, Charlotte Russell, who is also an Ambassador. Alexandra has made it her goal to raise awareness as she believes that, “the more people involved with the cause, the easier it will be to find a way to overcome the social injustices of our world.”
From the days of winning the blue ribbon on her pony Patchwork in the Short Stirrup division at the 2003 Hampton Classic, Alexandra has continued to develop her skills as an equitation rider. A regular competitor in both the ASPCA Maclay and USEF Talent Search classes, Alexandra’s commitment paid off with victory in the ASPCA Maclay Medal class held at Ox Ridge in April riding MVP. She has also enjoyed success with Oakwood, the former equitation mount of Kate Landau and Josephine Nash.
Alexandra balances her riding pursuits with attending St. Anthony’s High School.
