BIOGRAPHY |
Eurico began riding at the age of six, influenced by his older sister and brother who were very active in show jumping. He quickly caught the riding bug and at age 16 traveled to Europe to train and compete with some of the sport’s leading riders, while at the same time studying economics and marketing at university in Brazil. Over the years he has learned from many riders including Nelson Pessoa, Ulrich Kirchoff and George Morris.
After suffering a severe accident in 2005, Eurico did not compete for three years. He promised himself and his mother (now deceased) that if he began to ride again, he would become involved with a charity whose cause he is passionate about. The year 2008 is full of new beginnings for Eurico as he has now returned to his riding career with new owners and new horses.
When not in the saddle, Eurico enjoys spending time with his wife, Kristin, an amateur rider, and their young daughter, Dinah.
