Why Jump for a Just World? “I have been very fortunate in my life not only to have been given so many opportunities to pursue my dreams but even more so to have been provided with the skills and resources to turn those dreams into reality. There are so many people out there who dream of and struggle for many of the small things that I take for granted. I feel that lending my time and focus to such a worthy and important cause will not only help those in need, but also enrich my own life with a new kind of purpose. I am personally very eager to contribute to JustWorld International’s goals and mission in any way that I can.”
A successful junior career in the pony, junior hunter and equitation divisions was the start of Jennifer Berol Bliss’ show jumping career. In 2001, she earned championship titles in both the Junior and Pony Hunter divisions with several different horses at such major competitions as the Winter Equestrian Festival, the Old Salem Horse Show and the Devon Horse Show. Determined to succeed after graduating from the junior ranks, Jennifer worked as an assistant rider and trainer to Scott Stewart, Kate Stoffel Oliver and Val Renihan before opening her own farm, Harris Hill Farm, LLC in September of 2007. Jennifer now competes in the professional hunter divisions and coaches numerous students at both the junior and amateur levels. Jennifer has also contributed to the Chronicle of the Horse and Practical Horseman, having articles published in both magazines.
