In Northeast Brazil, JustWorld has partnered with the Pavel Foundation since 2008 to fund projects combatting illiteracy and extreme poverty with educational, health, and social programs for more than 100 children and their families in Barao de Grajau, a remote village in in the state of Maranhao.
