A little bit about JustWorld Ambassadors
Equestrians of all ages, riding levels, and disciplines are welcome to become JustWorld Ambassadors. To be an ambassador means you wish to represent JustWorld by wearing the colors of JustWorld in the show ring and acting as a spokesperson to raise awareness for JustWorld among your friends, local community, at horse shows, and in the media.
Ambassadors pledge a portion of their winnings or an annual donation, and/or volunteer their time. There is no minimum amount an Ambassador is required to pledge. Just think… for only $130, a child in Cambodia can participate for a whole year in the lunch program, $1,000 will provide 12 children with the supplies they need to go to school in our JustWorld Honduras project, $2,500 is the salary for one teacher to educate the children in the JustWorld Guatemala project.
While your Ambassador pledge truly does make a difference in our projects, our Ambassador’s efforts to raise awareness can make just as big of a difference. JustWorld Ambassadors create fundraising and awareness-raising initiatives (T-shirt sales, pizza and bake sales, horseless horse shows, etc.) that not only raise awareness for our cause, but the proceeds from Ambassador fundraisers go directly to the JustWorld projects! We have had some successful and creative Ambassador-driven fundraisers in the past, click on the fundraisers link above for some ideas!
Technical Official Ambassadors represent JustWorld as they carry out nationally and FEI internationally accredited roles as course designers, judges, stewards, and technical delegates. Currently over 400 JustWorld Ambassadors from nearly 40 countries pledge their “time, talent, or treasure” to JustWorld on an ongoing basis to give thousands of children a leg up to a brighter future!
