Volunteers are welcome to apply for field assignments in Cambodia, Honduras and Senegal. For more information on JustWorld International projects and partners in these countries please refer to the 'About JWI' web page.

Prospective volunteers are strongly encouraged to arrange a telephone interview with JustWorld International upon submission of the volunteer application.
First-time volunteers should plan on working in the field for at least one month between June and August. Exact dates will be determined based on the most economical travel days during those weeks.
Returning volunteers are strongly encouraged to accept a three to six-month field assignment.
Volunteers will be provided with pre-departure information on the country of assignment. They will also be required to prove that they have diligently and adequately prepared for the volunteer experience on their own and in cooperation with JustWorld International. Failure to prepare for the assignment could result in its cancellation.
All volunteers will receive confirmation within one month of the reception of their volunteer application.

Qualifications and Responsibilities of a JustWorld International Volunteer
Qualifications
- Must either be enrolled in an accredited college or university or be recent graduates
- Must express a demonstrated commitment to social justice work
- Must be fluent in English
- Should possess a familiarity with other languages, trade and development issues, and/or globalization
Responsibilities
While working on behalf of JWI, a Volunteer's responsibilities include but are not necessarily limited to the following:
- To represent JWI at any internal and external events or conferences as deemed appropriate for the Volunteer's service
- To attend JWI meetings and workshops prior to, during and after volunteer assignment
- To ensure that JWI has access to the most up-to-date information concerning the Volunteer's service
- To maintain weekly contact with JWI while serving in the field
- To network with grassroots humanitarian organizations, as needed and appropriate
- To submit a comprehensive report following the Volunteer's service of a caliber to be used in a JWI publication
- To promote JWI during organized presentations and events
